What to do?
According to our weather widget (on the home page) it's looking like rain over the weekend. That sure puts a damper on the Mardi Gras event. :-( Maybe an indoor music concert is more up your alley with Robbert Bobbert or the DrumLine performance. What a tough decision that is to make!
The event I am looking forward to this month is FCMOM's consignment sale on Feb. 28th. I am a huge fan of buying gently used items for my kids; in particular toys and play clothes. Not only is that helping reduce landfill space, it also helps the wallet.

Welcome to Children's Events of Northern Virginia
Welcome to the launch of Children's Events. It's the one stop site where you can find out about local children's events happening in the Northern Virginia Area.
The more involved you become with the site, the better the site becomes. If you know of a children's event that is happening in our area that is not already listed here, simply go to our submit form page. We will post that event on this site for everyone to enjoy. Parents, caregivers, and coordinators; everyone's involvement will make this site run effectively.
Our hope is that when you come to this site, you will automatically find a fun event to attend with your family. Both free and charging events will be listed. The events must be family friendly and open to the general public. Children's Events.com reserves the right to not post any event for any reason.
